The success of Mahnomen Health Center's Nursing Center and Hospital is due in part to the hard work and dedication of its volunteers. Eager volunteers assist our Nursing Center residents with reading, card playing, hair care, walks, talks, church service assistance, games, Bible study, birthday party entertainment, music, and many other offerings of the their time and talents.

We invite the public, men and women, young and old, to volunteer at our facility. Our Nursing Center residents enjoy people who can read current events to them; a recurring visit with a good book is a special treat. They enjoy a game of cards and checkers or just a good visit. It is a good feeling to know you made a difference in someone else's life. All it takes is a little of your time.
