The Speech - Language Pathology Department provides evaluations and training in the areas of communication and eating, including swallowing and chewing ability. Our speech-language pathologists work with staff, families, and residents to improve an individual's ability and quality of life in the following areas:

• Training For Use of Communication Devices
• Chewing and Swallowing Evaluations
• Monitoring for Choking Hazards
• Reeducation of Chewing and Swallowing Ability
• Education and Training for Staff and Patient Techniques
